My intro video in my building of a 16×20 shed building, When I went to the big box store to buy a shed, I was shocked at the cost for a 16×20 shed build. I went online shortly after and found that trying to buy 16×20 shed plans was going to be a nightmare as most plans were just too complicated to build. Since I did not want to pay for plans and had some experience in AutoCAD, I decided to do this myself.

Episode 3: Shed Floor Framing – Building a Shed Floor

In the last episode we got the foundation all set up, and now it is time to start the shed floor framing. Without previous experience, I found a dozen different techniques in shed floor framing and landed on the process I used in this video. As I progressed through the shed floor framing, the value of the Bostich 33-degree nailer showed. (Link: https://amzn.to/2MNsFcd). Being able to switch out the tips and quickly transition from framing nails to joist hanger nails was a huge time saver.

I made some mistakes during the shed floor framing process, mostly because I did not do a good job squaring up my foundation. Learn from my mistakes and your shed floor framing will be a lot more successful than mine!
