Build Rustic LOG Firewood SHED p2

Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXTHo… Now that the log columns have been installed its time to carve the two headers in place. The headers have a drastic taper to them. I designed it so the wider part of the logs would be placed at the center creating a seam, that seam rests on the middle column leg support. Now even though the horizontal header logs have a strong taper to them , using a level twine string to pull measurements from I managed to scribe them down on top of the log leg support where the highest point of the headers are perfectly level. In return it exaggerates the bottom giving it a “v” shaped illusion… Did I explain that right? Yeah, I like the end result. By the way this was my first attempt at using a chain saw to carve wood, it was quite fun.

PART 3. This is the next & final video of this build https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-6LWzrTlzM

  1. AWESOME!!!! Now I know how I will build my shed! [ Check Details Here=>deam.design/9trw ] I loved your video and everything you built inside of it! Thank you for showing this, it helps so much.

  2. How is he using the tip of the chainsaw without getting any kickback?? the top corner of the saw isn't supposed to touch anything i thought…

  3. A Log / beam/ bearer is only as strong as its weakest point. Way too much timber was removed in joining the various members together = more labour for less strength.

  4. If you want to make your own woodworking yourself just look for woodprix website. There is all you need to make it 🙂

  5. A very helpful tool [Check Details Here⇒>https://t.co/3IzNssRBxG ]. I had no clue on how to go about building an outdoor shed. Ryan's shed plan was timely and of a great help. the instructions are so clear and the application very easy. What a relief!

  6. here's several ideas for building sheds
Start With a Sound Foundation a shed wont last long if it's set on a weak base
Allow for Air Circulation to stop damp
    Build a Weather-Resistant Floor Frame
Use Low Maintenance Materials so you won't have to keep re-painting it

  7. rule of thumb for this kind of work, never remove more than 50% of the log, this will keep your structure a lot stronger

  8. This is a really nice shed! You did not show us how you lifted the roof beams into place. I think your job of jointing would be much easier with a smaller saw. Good luck on this project!

  9. This project is turning out really nice.  Looking forward to the finish.  If you ever have to go off the grid, you'll know just what to do
