This week I finally made the time to build this small shed for my trash cans.

Episode 3: Shed Floor Framing – Building a Shed Floor

In the last episode we got the foundation all set up, and now it is time to start the shed floor framing. Without previous experience, I found a dozen different techniques in shed floor framing and landed on the process I used in this video. As I progressed through the shed floor framing, the value of the Bostich 33-degree nailer showed. (Link: Being able to switch out the tips and quickly transition from framing nails to joist hanger nails was a huge time saver.

I made some mistakes during the shed floor framing process, mostly because I did not do a good job squaring up my foundation. Learn from my mistakes and your shed floor framing will be a lot more successful than mine!
